Santa Fe established its Moscow office in 1993, becoming the first Western company to set up in the capital of the Former Soviet Union. At the time, the only way to legally operate as a foreign business in Russia was by being based within the U.S. Embassy. This unique arrangement allowed us to navigate the complex regulatory environment and successfully offer relocation services in a rapidly changing market.
